BiographyMarried. Member 8th Bombarment Squadron, 3rd Bomber Group. Pilot of B-26 Invader bomber. Aircraft hit by anti-aircraft fire while on a day interdiction of the enemy an crashed 30 miles northwest of bomb line along Route 4, Kumchon to Sibyon. Presumed dead January 31, 1954, remains never recovered. Awarded Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 13 Oak Leaf Clusters, Purple Heart, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation and Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
